The Scholarships Committee is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities by investing in the future of students throughout our community. Through scholarships, book stipends, and educational support, the committee helps remove financial barriers while encouraging academic excellence.

Each year, the Lake Charles Alumnae Chapter awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education at colleges, universities, and technical or vocational schools. In addition, the chapter provides book stipends to help ease the cost of required educational materials, allowing students to focus on achieving their academic and career goals. By supporting multiple pathways to success, the committee reflects Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated's enduring commitment to education, empowerment, and service.
